My last post on gridded shower doors received a fair amount of attention for our little blog. For the past few years, we’ve gotten frequent calls from across the U.S. asking if our Gridlite showers could be purchased directly from us. Sadly, as a small business, we’re really not set up to ship these showers out directly to other glass companies and individual homeowners. We install gridded showers in Minneapolis, St Paul and the surrounding area, but not too far beyond. That said, I’m always happy to offer any assistance I can as to how you can create the gridded shower look (simulated divided lite) on your own using supplies available from your local manufacturer.
Here are a few photos of showers with grids we’ve completed in the recent past. Some have been created using standard framed showers with 3/16″ glass, others have been heavy glass showers where we’ve framed the glass is using u-channel. Check out the images below and let me know what you think!
